Since this Wednesday is Christmas and since last Christmas Santa brought me a Mustang Floor and I have never used it, I figured it is about time that I try it!!!

Is the Mustang Floor model only to be used with computer and DAW? I understand that it emulates different amps and effects but can you also use it with an amp? I have a Fender Blues, Jr. that I would plug it into. If so, I assume that you then just emulate different effects into the amp?

Dumb, noob questions I realize but I figure I have it, I ought to put it to use.

the mustang floor functions as a multi-fx pedal, it emulates several amps and effects, so you would want to run it in the fx loop if your amp has one, or you could run it into the front of your amp, just set all your dials on your amp to the cleanest sound possible and make all your adjustments on the mustang floor, the business with the computer is about using the Fuse software to easily create and share presets, you can also use the mustang as an audio interface to run your guitar into your favorite DAW, all the effects of the mustang can be recorded into your DAW, basically it does all that you mentioned, the choice is yours as to how you utilize it, It's a great piece of equipment, Have fun

Kreature, than you for the response and help getting me started. So to set my amp to "cleanest" would that be "bass", "treble" and "middle" all to noon or all to all the way counterclockwise? The reverb, of course, would be all the way to "0".

And how would I set "Volume" and "Master"?

Thanks, again.

sounds like you have a good idea of how to do it, yeah I would start with bass, mid, and treble at 12'O'Clock,. also start with your volumes all the way down and inch them up slowly until you find a comfortable playing volume, you don't want any loud volume spikes, and you don't wanna overload your amp or your speakers, so yeah just start with the volumes on the amp down and adjust from there and you should be fine
