Glad you're sticking with it. You're definitely in good company here and as strings said, if you have a question or get stumped, you can just post it and rest assured there is someone here that has the answer and probably many folks who have had the same question. Right now mine is set to a chunky/clean 65 Deluxe preset and i use some pedals with that and just can't get enough of it. The way i look at it is if i never use any of the other presets its still an amazing value. Enjoy and keep us posted.
:D

Markcc, good one!! At least I know someone here knows King Crimson!! 8)
Captainc, thanks for the support, as well as everyone in the forum. My plan now is to buy a pre loved Vox 30, to practice and use the Mustang for experimentation ... I am finally discovering the fun in trying "stuff" available in the Mustang. By accident I loaded something that makes my Strats sound like the late Terry Kath during the Chicago 10 sessions. By the way, to this day, Mr. Kath is still one of my all time favorites, clean guitarist with plenty of speed and tons of soul!! any Terry Kath fans out there? :D

I have been able to download the Vox 30, 93 Blues Fender and Vox Clean. I am now trying to learn where the amp wants to save the settings and how I can tell the amp where I want the settings

I'm still a bit confused about what you're trying to achieve. Originally, you wanted the simplest way for a novice to get a 'clean' sound for practice. Which you can do very easily directly on the amp as per previous posts. But it sounds like you've decided not to do that, and are now struggling with downloading other people's presets from the internet and transferring them to your amp with FUSE, etc? That's great if you want to play around with that, but if it's making life difficult for you, you don't have to do all that just to use the amp. It really can be much, much simpler than that. I hope you solve it all.
