Ive been looking into attenuators for my 100 watt tube amp. Knowing that an attenuator allows one to crank their tube amp to sweet tonal levels, while keeping the volume desirable. Having said that, can I use my Mustang Floor as an attenuator of sorts? Cranking my amp to a good tone level and setting my volume via my mustang floor? Will this harm my amp? Any help would be appreciated. I use my MusFloor mainly for effects only, occasionally Ill kick in an amp model. :D

Wont really work like you are expecting.
Most attenuators hook up between the amp and speaker absorbing the power from the amp and allowing you regulate or attenuate the volume after the amp.

What you are describing will kinda be akin to just turning the guitar volume way down
That is, unless you meant to hook up the floor between the amp and cab. DO NOT DO THAT

hopefully I am telling you right... someone else will surly correct me if I am wrong.
Good Luck!
