So here's part of the open mic "gig" about which I posted a few weeks ago.

I played from 8:30 PM until midnight without so much as stopping for a drink of water, because I love it. The M4 was VERY loud--because this place let's one do that and my entire purpose here was to get to turn up my amp for once. You can't tell here because, in fact, it was so loud (even the clean tones) that the Zoom camera I used to record it automatically drops the gain way down to avoid clipping...so it's way too quiet in this youtube vid. But whatever. This is actually an outdoor stage, under a tent, and it was about 90 degrees and super humid. (In fact it's called the Green Room, which of course refers to a warm-up stage, but also this place is like a green room, here in Miami, FL--it's like being under water it's so hot and humid.) One thing I was not prepared for was the stickiness in the fingers from sweating and humidity--couldn't slide like I'm used to doing at home. In fact, since this night, I have been turning off the A/C at home when I play to get used to playing while sweaty.

Finally, after the battery died I swear that about 8 people showed up and were happy to see me playing Nirvana songs, and I led them in a singalong of numerous songs as indicated in the video description.  It was super fun. I actually drew these people away from the main stage inside because the kids inside were playing pure noise with volume on 11 as usual. I played Nirvana songs using a clean tone and took requests and people were genuinely appreciative (talked to them afterwards) and sang along and had fun. (Oh by the way, some of the people I talked to, of course, also play guitar and are in bands and OF COURSE they wanted to know all about my Mustang amp  )

Lots of tuning and a restart in the beginning....skip ahead if you don't mind or click through to youtube for links to where songs start.

I can't wait to do it again now that I have a real dirt pedal to put in front of a clean preset. The stuff I've been doing at home is 100X better than this and I've actually done some solos that I would actually listen to in my car while driving.

Guys
I seen video before it was made private, not dissing her wanna but the video is her wanna on a stage sitting down on his own playing chords through his mustang, basically not a band playing good songs.
Just playing around with his amp no other music.
