Howdy all,
Had my 3v2 for about 2 weeks now and am really enjoying it. Had the Floor here for a week or so and sent it back and swapped for the combo...glad I did. Pretty bitchin little amp and records well too. I put some Harmonic Design Z-90's in a PRS Santana SE (new version) and that sounds killer thru it! Busy making presets, I find the cabinet selection is key for me finding what i am after.

Rock on!

Brent

cool Brent,

I have a M III (v1) and an M IV (v1) - when Sweetwater announced the price drop on the M IV v1, I couldn't resist picking one up.

I love both of them

The M III is handy as it's quite portable rig and it sounds terrific.

The M IV is a bit more amp to lug around, but has way more beans and moves a lot more air than the III. I know I'm missing out on some of the improvements in the V2, but I'm fine with what the v1 engines offer.

These are fantastic amps, and I do think fender got it right with all of these.

Yes sir, portability was the emphasis when I chose the III. I know it doesn't get any more portable than the floor and the floor was cool, but it's still pretty nice to turn around and twist a knob if needed on the fly. Played thru 212 and 412's for the last 30 years and it's time to downsize. Simplicity! Overall I am real happy with it.

Portability and practicality were the reasons I went w/ the M-III. Even though it's a smaller sized combo it has fantastic power and it's LOUD if you need it to be.
After 30 yrs of lugging around heavy (and often TOO loud) tube amps, I couldn't be happier. Fender really got this one right. Enjoy your new Mustang!
