Holy smokes I love this amp model! I had created and uploaded a preset called Smooth Bassman Blues a while back and last night while playing around with it I decided to increase the gain a tad and moved it up to about 5 or 6. Man did that ever scratch the itch. Perfect tone for the second solo in Shine On you Crazy Diamond if that’s your thing. Then engaging my Ultimate drive pedal just gooses it a little more to give it singing sustain.

IMHO the bassman and twin 57 (v2 only) are the best modelled amps, particularly when it comes to gain and/or guitar volume variation effect on the sound.

The other one I discovered by accident the other day was the HiWatt model, but in order for it to sound not thin, increase master volume setting to max, gain to max and bias to max, with strong enough guitar volume you get a lovely tube compression/breakup and it also takes very well overdrive stomps

I fully agree. I added a post gain comp to the HiWatt model preset I use and am loving it. I use it as a fairly clean base for External stomps and love it.

I'm definitely going to try your preset but... I'm intrigued by the "music styles" it applies to:

"NativeAmerican, Polka, Showtunes"

Well I tried to create something that covered a broad range of tastes.

I also removed the old Smooth Bassman Blues patch and re-uploaded an improved version if any cares.
