I placed the order on Friday and it should arrive latter this week. This will be my first true "modeling" rig, although I've been using a Super Champ X2 for a while now (and before that the G-DEC 3). After considering several other modeling solutions, I finally chose the Mustang Floor because I've been impressed with the sounds I'm getting from the SCX2 and I'm hoping I will get similar (if not better) tones with the Floor + PE60 combination with the addition of the added versatility that the Floor offers. If it lives up to expectations it will likely replace both the SCX2 and my always-too-loud tube amp.

Anyone else using this same set-up (Floor + PE60) either for practice or live use? Any tips for a first time user? I've downloaded and read the manual and I'm already familiar with FUSE.

Yes, I'm using the Mustang Floor in a church band. I was also using my Tech 21 Power Engine 60 until they went ampless here awhile back. We now use in-ear monitors with the Aviom system. I've had my Power Engine for many years and I love it. It's awesome. I first used it with an old POD Pro, then a PODxt Pro, then a BOSS GT-Pro, until I got the Mustang Floor. On all those old modeling preamps, I realized I was always gravitating toward the Fender sounds for almost everything. Fender does Fender sounds better than Line 6 and BOSS, so I got the Mustang Floor and never looked back. You made a couple great choices there, jmp15. You won't be sorry.

You won't be disappointed!

I used to run a Mustang Floor through an Atomic Reactor 112 amp which is a similar "no-tone-signature" amp made for modeling units.

Heck, I loved it so much that I upgraded to a Mustang V V2 and Mustang 4x12 cab! Which is serious overkill for my purposes by the way but I still can't wipe the smile off my face at having a half-stack in my music room!

I have been using my Mustang Floor direct XLR to a QSC K8 powered PA speaker. It is AMAZING!!! All the tones jump out and sound huge even at lower volumes. So small and easy to carry. I know it is unusual, but try it, it will leave you amazed also.

Slow day!

Heck, I got you all beat, so beat this. :P

When I am just *rehearsing* in my recording studio I have my Mustang Floor hooked up with the two XLRs going into two channels of my mixing board along with one 1/4" from the Floor into my looper and then into another channel on the board as well.

Feeding top of the line Apogee and Benchmark convertors along with crossovers and a mastering processor into *two* ear level 200 watt Event 20/20s, along with *two* 300 watt (sub)woofers below them on the floor and *two* original SRM*450*watt Mackies flying behind me and all in a pseudo surround sound.

1900 watts total and I am not counting the two computer workstation's speakers and amps with subs in the same room.

You all do know that the secret to making good music can all be summed up by just how much wattage and power you have and that is all.

Okay no more trade secrets, I promise.
