I can't be the only one this happens to because it's happening on both of my computers, an older xp desktop and a newer w7 laptop. Fuse wouldn't boot unless I rebooted computer. I finally noticed by opening task manager that two FUSE functions were continuing to run after it was shut down (FUSE server and another one). If I use task manager to close these functions then FUSE will boot but it's a nuisance and I'd like to find a permanent fix.

I have heard of this happening occasionally to people. They fix it in the way you have, and all is then fine thereafter. Are you saying this happens to you all the time, every time you use FUSE, on both your computers? Or has it just happened once and is ok now?

If it's happening all the time, has it always done this, ever since you first installed FUSE?

Or has it only started happening recently? If so, have you made any other changes to your computer, or installed any other software, recently?

Hi hetgentka,

We are sorry to hear that you have been experiencing some issues with Fender® FUSE™. We would suggest that you try the following steps. Once you try these steps, please let us know how this worked. Then we can go from there. Thanks much.

Best Regards,

1. Make sure that Fender FUSE is closed on your PC. (You may need to go to Task Manager\Processes and make sure that neither "FUSEServer" or "FUSELauncher" are running.)
2. Uninstall Fender FUSE. Restart your PC.
3. Re-install Fender FUSE. Launch and test.
