What do you guys think about this.
I might buy a Rumble 4x10 cab to go along with my Rumble 150 bass combo.
Would this cab be compatible with my Mustang 3 guitar amp?
What might be the pros or cons?
Thanks....

It would work so long as you keep the impeadance of the cab the same as the impeadance of the stock speaker, of course you would have to disconnect the stock speaker and run the cab instead, just be sure the impeadance is the same so you don't blow your amp

... thus NOT compatible, since the MIII does not allow the use of an extension cab without either modifying the amp, or adding an external power supply.

it is absolutely possible wit a couple 1/4" adapters that are easily removed and amp could easily be retored to stock, speaker wires can connect to a 1/4" female output jack, 1/4" speaker cable can then be run to an external cabinet, without actually modifying the amp, what would you need an external power supply for ? the Mustang 3 certainly puts out enough wattage to push a 4x10 speaker cabinet. I am not suggesting that somebody actually do this, but it is possible without damaging the amp or altering the amp,. Impeadance is the important thing here, proceed at your own risk

Does disconnecting the speaker and running it through a bunch of adapters to a speaker cab void the warranty? :|

The power amp would be so you can take the Effects Send and plug that into the power amp and then connect the power amp to the speaker cab.

well I wouldn't do anything to an amp still under warranty, I was just saying that it could be done, and it could be done in such a way that doesn't alter the amplifier in anyway, a seperate power amp wouldn't be necessary, but at the same time you could leave the Mustang alone and run the sends into a sepearte power amp and achieve similar results. as far as Fender's warranty goes I would not tinker with the amp until after the warranty is up,.
