Hi,

I just bought the Mustang I v2 amp and am playing around with the presets. I already understood that you can only change the amber bank using Fuse software, but somehow I can't find the save button in Fuse. Maybe I missed it in the manual, but could someone please instruct me on how to save a preset in any of the banks on my amp?

Thanks!
Jeroen

Maybe as some extra information to not look completely stupid ;-). Of course I see a save button, but it just saves to a file and not to the preset bank on my amp.

This has been discussed in previous topics, and is a bit of a UI flaw in FUSE in my opinion, because it's not at all obvious how to transfer a preset from FUSE to your amp, as you've discovered.

With FUSE's library view on the screen, right-click the preset you want, and one of the options displayed will save the preset to the amp. You can choose the preset number etc at this point.

Amber needs FUSE to save new presets. It's in the manual, but of course, we men don't read those. Connect to fuse, make your changes and save them, then they're on the amp.

Thanks for the info! It worked. After fiddling around a little bit I also managed to find an alternative and that is to select "amp" in the drop-down menu in the top left. Then import a file with the preset from the pc. When you then press save the settings will be transported to the amp iso to file. UI and manual flaw indeed!

I don't think it's a flaw. They've had enough time to fix it if it was.

I didn't mean flaw in the sense of bug, more a poor piece of UI, that a fundamentally important operation is hidden away in a non-intuitive place. The number of people who've asked the question over the last couple of years suggests it is a real issue and isn't just a "dumb user" problem. Obviously some other people may not have had this problem and thus not see it as an issue, and that's fine too.
