I know the fx levels (mix) can be adjusted through FUSE- I have done it and it's easy.

However, is there a way I can lower the Reverb's level from the Amp itself?

Under neath EXIT button, it says- Hold for FX level- what's ups with that?

I've tried it, but it doesn't seem to change the level.

anyone know?

If you hold the Exit button and turn the Mod Knob you are lowering the level of the modulation FX you have active. If you do the same with the delay/reverb knob, you lower the level of those FX.

another useful feature I've found is to save FX you have tweaked to the different locations on the FX Knobs (A1, A2, B,2 etc) that way if you have FX you commonly use, you can easily just add those to patches without needing fuse.

Hope that helps.

oh and my 1000th post... i get a pick.

So are you saying that I could change the parameters and save them on the Mod or Reverb/Delay dials just like the amp mods use A1, B1, C1...?

If I could adjust the reverb levels and save them like that, that really would be nice and practical.

Yes you can. This has been very practical for me. I don't really mess too much with Chorus depths and rates, and don't use too many different delay speeds. So this works out very nicely if you want to start with a clean preset and have your FX slots set to add what you commonly use.

especially if you use external stomps.

... and don't want to bother with fuse as much

I feel real stupid, because I've downloaded (and saved) both the Advanced Amp manual and the FUSE manual. I've read both several times, but I guess I missed that aspect. I just found it right away this time I looked in the Advanced Amp manual.

Thanks

Nah don’t feel stupid, I didn’t catch it there either. I stumbled upon that feature when I was messing with Fuse and saw the “Save Effects” button and putzed around with it. Then I went to the manual to see if they threw that gold nugget of info in for the consumers and they had.

Enjoy.

Well, actually, I changed the Speaker Cab Mods with FUSE which I found extremely good.
I've changed the Speaker Cab mod on both the Bassman and British 60's to get a little more headroom and bass response- it works like a charm!

Other than that- I do use stomp boxes. I use a Diamond Compressor (optical) and a high quality Analog Delay (by VFE) between mt guitar and amp input.
I'm really happy with the total sound.
I just wish the Mustangs on board Reverbs were a little better.
However, that's a small criticism for such a value like the Mustangs. I have a Mustang II v.2

Which cabs are you using? I read on TGP folks were having good luck with the 2x12c and turning the SAG to min so this weekend I’m going to play around with that. I also discovered the Plate verbs. Just a small amount of Plate works real nice for me. The Halls and Rooms I found to be a bit too much.

I too have the MII V.2

For the 59 Bassman, I changed to the cab to the SS212.
On the British '60s I changed to the 4x12M (believe it or not).
Actually, I'd love to be able to turn the sag down, but I can't choose the sag button. I just click on it and nothing happens- what's the trick?

Click and hold and pull down to turn counter clockwise.
