No, they are two totally independent devices. Yes it would be good if this were possible; it's been discussed before in this forum and I think Fender are aware of the request. The best you can do for floor-control of a Mustang 3 (or 4 or 5) is to have the four- and two-button footswitches (MS-2, MS-4) plus the EXP-1 expression pedal.

Or another thing you could do is use the M-Floor for all the modelling and effects, and just use the Mustang 3 as a power amp / speaker (eg by feeding the M-Floor output into the M-3's fx-return). That gives you exactly the same range of sounds (using the M-Floor's DSP) and foot controls as having a foot controller for the M-3's DSP, so for all practical purposes provides exactly what you want.

I wish Fender would make a controller for the MIII like the Floor board rather than have 3 separate pedals on the floor!

I have been saying this for a couple of years here on the forum. Come on, Fender!

So it can control other modelers but not the Mustang. Not very forward thinking design IMO.

I don't think it's a lack of forward thinking, merely a decision of what to include at a certain price-point. The M-Floor has midi output (I guess this is what you're referring to?), but the Mustang amps don't have a midi input.

It would be nice of course if the amps did have a midi input for preset selection, etc - but the additional electronics would add to the cost. For what most Mustang owners want to do, I guess Fender consider it isn't an essential feature.

The Mustangs do have a USB control input - FUSE uses it to change preset, and to change settings within a preset. It would be perfectly possible for Fender (or an enterprising third-party) to make a USB foot controller that sends appropriate signals to the amp to do the same. That would be a nice accessory, without requiring any changes to the amp. Or an updated M-Floor could send the appropriate signals over USB rather than (or as well as) MIDI.
