I have had limited success when it comes to manipulating the Echo effects.

There. I said it.

Anyone else have similar thoughts but feared to admit it?

Actually, I was inspired (and amused) by reading another thread this morning:

"...whenever I experiment with delays I always end up with a comedy echo-loop sound that's too over-the-top."

Apologies and gratitude to scott-uk for his 'coming out' on this topic. It gave me strength.

Unfortunately, most of the stock presets are also over the top and don't make good reference points.

Seriously. I mainly use the Tape and Mono echo settings. If folks could share some dial settings with perhaps some sound clips to demonstrate some well-crafted echo effects I'd be most appreciative.

Cheers.

I find that the delays work best with overall effect level fairly low otherwise the delay effect is too over powering, I usually set the level at about 1 and a half sometimes 2, feedback settings I usually set at about 3 or 4, delay time should be set where you like it, I find these settings work for me without being over the top,
