Here is a little sample of the Fender Mustang III V2 setup for a Marshall tone, it's the Brit 80's model using a 4x12V cab and some tape delay at the end! Its got the OD model with 3 band EQ pushing the front end just like the real thing!
I used a SM57 set about 5" away from the speaker into a Zoom R16 Digital Recorder, the Guitar is a Les Paul Classic with Dimarzio 36th Anniversary PAFS

Hot Marshall Tone

Here is a quick sample of the same amp patch using the XLR out into recorder, i did EQ this one a little!

What settings are you using for the tape delay? It sounds good in your clip, whenever I experiment with delays I always end up with a comedy echo-loop sound that's too over-the-top. It would be good to know what you've done that sounds so much better than when I do it!

Best thing to do is keep the level to where the echo is just heard with out taking over your sound I also keep the repeats low as well, I will post the setiings I use.
