Hi Guys
Just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue with their mustang V2 amp?
I have only had it 2 weeks ago and this is an intermittent fault.
I will try to explain the fault?
No matter which preset is use the fault occurs but like i say not all the time, it will go into a loud hiss and audio break up the guitar will cut in and out with loud hiss and distorted sound then will stop and play ok until another time then it comes back again and does it again.
Now i know it is not the guitar or lead as it has occurs with different guitar and lead, also
it is not a power surge or spike as i have been using my amps for years on the same power
outlet in my room.
when it does happen the audio connect toom the aux is fine its only the guitar input side of things, I have re installed the software and done a factory reset as suggested by the store i had it from and they told me to test it over this weekend and if fault is still present then they will get another one sent out to me as i told them i dont want a refund as i like the mustang amps i hope it is not a common problem with these amps although i used to have a mustang IV V1 and that was fine.
So i will call the store tomorrow and get a replacement..
Have anyone else similar problem?
cheers
John

Were those other amps digital modeling amps? It seems this kind of amp benefits from at the very minimum a good quality power strip with surge protection, do you already have one connected? I know your other amps were fine in the same outlet, but power issues still might be the problem.

Just a quick update, I received my replacement mustang III today and it is working fine
so far, but one thing i noticed is when I got my previous mustang that was faulty and sent back when I first opened the box and got to the main inner box it was sealed with the tape but there wasn't any of those big staples, the holes were there as if it used to have staples in now my new amp was sealed with tape and had those big staples in as well, so now I'm thinking was the previous amp been out of the box and used and sent back as it was faulty and sent to me by mistake or they could have tested it any found no fault as it was intermittent and decided it was a good working amp and sent it out to me.. I don't know but as long as my new amp is working in happy..
