I have the 4 pedal that came with my Mustang IV v2 and I was wondering
if I could use the P/N 0050419000 that came with my Fender 212 with it as a
6 pedal option ????

I dont want to just try it out and hurt anything, as I figured others
here are very knowledgeable and would be able to advise me as to
the yes or no of the attempt.

Thank you for your help !!!

From similar questions / answers / experiments before on this forum, it appears that only the 'official' Mustang footswitches work properly with the Mustang amps. It's unlikely a different footswitch will break anything, but it might just not work.

The Mustang footswitch part numbers are:
Mustang 3/4/5 Two-Button Footswitch: 0080997000
Mustang 3/4/5 Four-Button Footswitch: 0080996000
Mustang 1/2 One-Button Footswitch: 0994049000

So the Mustang 2-button footswitch is not the same item as your Frontman footswitch. I don't know whether than means it behaves differently.

If you want to experiment, I posted the behaviour of the Mustang 2-button footswitch (part number 0080997000 as above) before in this topic: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=85821. I repeat the info below. If your Frontman footswitch behaves the same way, it may well work

The 2-button footswitch is normally open-circuit. Pressing either button closes the circuit with a resistance, for the duration the button is pressed down (ie it's a "non-latching" action rather than "momentary"). The only difference between the two buttons seems to be the resistance value. For the left-hand button, it's about 5 Kohm; the right button is about 15 Kohm (I say "about" as my ohmmeter is old and not completely accurate!).

So I guess the amp detects which button is pressed by measuring the current flow through the switch (or equivalently a voltage drop across the switch):
- no button pressed, no current flow, full voltage drop
- right button pressed, small current flow, medium voltage drop
- left button pressed, big current flow, small voltage drop
