Hello,

my first post here and I'm needing some help/advice.

I somehow managed to yank the lead whilst it was plugged into the USB of My Fender Mustang II, now the USB connector has come loose and fallen inside the casing, there is no way to get it out without opening up the amp and getting to the board.

I am not sure if it is truly broken or if it could be reattached fairly easily.

I can't find anything on Google regarding the internals so I don't know what I'm dealing with here (never opened up an amp before).

If anyone has any idea how difficult this would be to repair I would really appreciate some advice.

Hope someone can help me, I really appreciate your time.
Thank you

Hi Minnie, first things I would be looking into are (a) is it still under warranty?, and (b) is the USB port covered under warranty? It has a 5-Year Transferable Warranty.

By the way Fender, 'transferable' is misspelled as 'transferrable' on this page:

Hi Minnie,

We will be happy to assist. It seems that strings10927 offered some great advice, thanks strings10927. You might have two options depending on your situation, if you bought your Fender® Mustang™ II, new and you are still within the 30 day return window, we would recommend that you contact your local dealer and have them swap the amplifier for you. If you are beyond the return date, we would recommend contact a Service Center in your area to get your amp in for service. Please take a look at the link below to help locate a Service Center near you. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
