I'm sure this has been asked a zillion times on this forum. I've been seriously considering selling the Orange Tiny Terror and getting a Mustang III. I need an all-in-one amplifier that I can use at home when my family is sleeping and one that I can gig with. I like the Mustang III V2 because of the XLR out that I could plug it straight into the board at church so I don't have to turn up the amplifier too loud. I also like the idea of having all the effects (including overdrive) already in the amp so I don't need to lug around a pedalboard anymore. At 43 years old, I'm tired of dragging all that gear around. But how does it sound live? Any input would be most appreciated.

Eric

You might want to consider the Mustang Floor as well for a variety of reasons.

I'm a bit late to the party on this one but, I think it will work out good for you.

IME, once you're in the mix with a full band going at it, it's really hard to make the argument of lugging a 75lb tube amp with a pedal board, (and all the cables for audio and powering things up required) just b-cuz will sound "totally superior".

(Something I could not say about my previous Line 6 or Vox Valvetronix experiences..)

I just picked up the M-III V2 and love it, I'm in the same boat I wanted a light weight amp with versatility and minimal setup. This amp has plenty of power when needed! I say try one out if you can!
