Hello Folks,

For anyone who can help me on this ....

I have an audio interface that I already use with Pro Tools 11 ....

Is there a way to setup the Mustang Amp when I connect it by USB as a secondary interface or (Aggregate device) to use it in Pro Tools and record the output ??

Best

Bechara

Wouldn't the answer to that be in the Protools manual? It's certainly not going to be in the Mustang manual

It's probably in the audio system preferences but I have no idea how that's referred to in Protools - I use Digital Performer ha ha.

I have PT9 Installed on a Macbook Pro running 10.6.8. In Setups>hardware setup there is a button labled “Launch Setup App”. I Don’t have my mustang in front of me but you can add an aggregate device in addition to the “Pro Tools Aggregate I/O”. Not sure if you’ve tried that but that would be where you add a second aggregate device.

Perhaps stating the obvious, but make sure you also install either (or both) an ASIO driver and/or the FUSE windows drivers, depending what type of driver your DAW is expecting to find. Just connecting the amp via USB to the computer isn't sufficient, your DAW won't find it unless you also install the drivers.

(NB - the FUSE drivers are principally for allowing FUSE to configure the amp, but they do also include a Windows audio driver. It's just not used that much because it has higher latency than ASIO).

This is not really applicable on a Mac, scott-uk.

Ahh, mea culpa, I looked to see if it was a Mac or PC in the OP's text, didn't spot it in the topic title.

Agree, irrelevant for a Mac, but still a useful reminder for any Windows users with similar issues.

Captainc's advice didn't work?
For the record, it's Mac not MAC... that's Media Access Control  Just teasing you a bit.
