I started Fuse this morning and and it asked me to upgrade firmware.

I did it since there is nothing that makes me happyer than upgrade something.

After the upgrade it still show me version 1.10, so i guess it flashed the same version again but in the about menu there is a "download V2 firmware" (or something like this, i am at office right now) that leads me download the V2.1 firmware.

I guess this is a mistake and indeed i did not even try to flash this firmware on my (obviously V1) mustang. I dont want to mess anything!

I dont know if someone else had this behavior...

(As an addictional information, i start fuse everytime i use the amp)

Did you recently upgrade FUSE itself?

Do you also have a Mustang Floor or a second Mustang amp that you use with FUSE?

Had you done a factory reset on your amp?

...just a few things I can think of that could have triggered this behaviour.

Fuse will not let you use a firmware created for another model. If that is the case, as soon as you try to start the upgrade it will tell you that it can't because hardware versions do not match. SAme behaviour trying Mv2 firmwares on Mv1 and MFloor. So have no fear.

If, in the other hand, you have found a V2 update for V1 amps that would make a lot of people happy :)

My fuse is always updated the same day a new release comes out. This forum is one of my moment when i am at work ;)

I only own a Mustang I v1 actually (I also own a champ 12 but it do not connect with fuse :) ).

My best guess is that the fuse noticed the V2.1 firmware and start an upgrade procedure, then flashed the lastest firmware (that was already there) on the device.

My main concern is that if this behavior occour often in could be annoing.

Also i had a very big delusion :D :D :D
