My local guitar center is blowing out III V1 for $229 this weekend...I have been wanting a III for a while now after having a I V2 for a few months and loving it!

There's $100 difference between V1 and V2.... With everything you know about both versions should I scoop one up pr pass on it and go for the V2... Thanks for the feedback fellas...

I just picked up a Floor at Guitar Center for 169.99 so they are making deals right now through tomorrow for the 4th of July clearance sale. I also own a Mustang 2 Version 1.

I dunno, the Mustang 3 Version 1 has that fizz issue so that should be taken into consideration as well at least for me that is.

If you lean towards heavier Distortion playing, The V1 will be OK. I had returned my V1 and got the V2, because of the clean channel, VERY Slight Fizz issue. Only because of that! Depends how clean you play, and how much you listen close enough to hear it! I would get it!

Went ahead and got it and I love it!!! I've had the MS1 for some time so I updated the firmware and spent an hour tweaking the settings I like... Not really having issues with fizz and I do play on cleaner reverb type settings and slightly overdriven amp settings... Just got to say that I'm digging both the clean and driven Priceton sounds you can get too!

Thanks again for the feedback...

Glad you like it! First I thought it said $299. But $229 is a good price!

Yeah I actually traded a guitar that was just collecting dust...paid $275 brand new for it in 2007... Got $220 for it and an extra 10% off the amp...
