Hi,

on my Mustang Floor, I switched between the different voicings. But I noticed no change at all. I have only one output connected. Tried the XLR- and the Jack-output. Tried it with a combo and a fullrange monitor.

What could I be doing wrong?

Thanks

on the M Floor you have the option to configure stereo voicing (both output channels with the same voicing) or mono voicing (each channel with an independent voicing), make sure that you are using either stereo voicing or if in mono mode, you are changing the correct channel.

Also if you are connecting phones, the voicing will be different (I think it switches to stereo PA voicing) so unplug your phones for your test.

Finally, the voicing is just an EQ setting so make sure you play a variety of sounds, particularly clean tones and chords to compare

Hi, thanks for the reply. I noticed the different possibilities of configuration (stereo-mono). There are no phones plugged in. And if I adjust the Bass- and Treble-Settings, there is no change in the sound. It seems to me that this whole "output-section" doesn't work at all on my device. So it must be a setting that I didn't find.

Hi tellyboy,

We will be happy to assist. It seems that jedi2b offered some great advice, thanks jedi2b:) We have tried to reproduce the behavior you are experiencing without success. Our recommendation would be to perform a firmware update and a possible factory restore, to see if that helps resolve the issue you are seeing. We do recommend that you backup all your Fender® Mustang™ Floor's content using the Fender® Fuse™ software, before performing a factory restore. If these two steps do not prove successful, we recommend that you bring your unit in to a Fender Service Center (please see link below). Please let us know if we can assist further.

Hi,

thank you for answering. I did a firmware update recently, but I will do it once again.
I noticed that it always shows "Phones" on the display. I have no phones plugged in. I put a phone jack in and out several times - no change. Do I have to store all my settings with Fender Fuse? I did not change any presets up to now. Are all the factory presets here again with a factory restore?

that is NOT normal and is very probably the source of the voicing issue, as I explained before. The phones plug is either stuck or there's some other internal problem with the phones connector IMO. Probably a good idea to get it repaired under warranty.

Hi tellyboy,

Thanks for that feedback. It's doubtful that a firmware update will fix the issue you are experiencing. We therefor recommend you bring your Fender® Mustang™ Floor in to a Service Center. Please click the link below to find a Service Center near you.
