Had used the left XLR into pa, Wow, the sound was very nice! Used the 57 twin, cab modeling off, tape echo and reverb. The amp performed perfectly!
I hope you enjoy the channel as well
Thanks, Mark

Mark,
Good job, always good to see people getting out and doing it live.
I have not played live for too long.
Also that is one of the best waistcoats I have seen for some time, kudos all round.
Pete

Just curious why you turned cabinet modeling off?

Also, was the majority of the sound your audience heard from the Mustang's speaker, or through the PA?

Nice sound! I assume this is about a 70dB gig?

When I setup the 00 preset, I wanted it to be what I was always going to use live, so that is where i was setting up the amp and when I cut off the cab modelling, There was the sound I wanted!! The option alone is worth millions! Just sounds good to my ears with the Gretsch, and yeah I had tested the XLR sound trough the pa and it sounds great so My idea was, since i am doing small lower volume shows, I had the Amp set on 3 which I heard the most, and with the amp going thru pa, it was spread out and really mixed well with the background music. I was even asked If I was actually playing the guitar! Thats what I was going for anyway! So Yeah in the situation that I work in, it was optimal. Both were just personal preferences. Hope that help! And thanks! Mark

Why the left XLR instead of the right, or does it matter? I've been micing the V2 with a Shure SM57 and am wondering if using XLR to the PA would sound better. I didn't know whether I needed a y-cable for the left + right XLR out to the XLR PA input.

If you're not using any stereo effects, it won't make any difference.

Yeah It don't make a difference, I stated all the facts I could for you guys, The left was closer to pa head!!! I went into a new Yamaha Stagepas 400i. WOW! It filled the room nicely and the M3, was set pretty low, I would recommend it, if you can accomodate the cables and such, to use the XLR outs. And that new PA is amazing, sounds like I already have a sub on it, I don't even need one! But the M3 Performed so very well.!
