Hello Fender,
I have recently bought a Mustang III V2. I have previously owned a V1 of the same amp. I like some of the new effects/amps but would really like a modulated delay like the EHX memory boy series. Is there any chance of this being added to the current range of delays? Apologies if I am sounding greedy.

I'll second that request. I'm currently using an old Deltalab ADM1024 that I had laying around for that, but would love to simplify!

I'm not sure what you guys mean by modulated delay but you might want to take a look into the echo filter effect as it does exactly that, delay with some adjustable modulation

Hi jedi2b,
modulated delay has chorus (or sometimes vibrato) on the delay repeats. The nearest I can get on the M3 is tape delay with the flutter on maximum but it is still not the same as a modulated delay.
This youtube clip shows it at around 3 minutes in.

Thompal-that is an impressive list of amps you have, the princeton is one of my favourites, I had loan of one of the re-issues for a while, a thing of beauty. I use the princeton amp a lot on my mustang.

PS
While I am on my wish list, the ability for delays & reverbs to have tails when turned off would be good too!

The Princeton I have is a transition. It's a brownface circuit in a blackface cosmetics.

It sounds WONDERFUL, but the biggest problem I have with it is that it is in mint condition, and I'm scared to death to take it anyplace or even use it much, because the first ding or rip in the tolex, or the first time I have to replace a transformer, it won't be "mint" anymore.

So I mostly used my 2nd best sounding amp - the Twin Reverb, which has been beat to hell, and looks like it was drug down the road, but sounds awesome. It's got a pair of JBLs in it.

I don't gig anymore, so at home, I'm happy with the Mustang III (v1). It does everything I need, at more reasonable volumes. A cranked Twin is a bit much for the bedroom.

Hi Thompal,
I used a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe for quite a while, I noticed I was being told to turn the amp down at gigs & it would be miked up, so getting the full effect of a valve amp running at a good volume was not possible, hence the mustang, especially the V2 which has the XLR outs. I have never had a go on a twin at volume, something for my bucket list. I am a big fan of the Fender edge of breakup tone with tremolo-a beautiful noise.
Best wishes
Pete
