I had never had the occasion to use the reverse delay effect until last night. I always thought it sounded pretty bad due to the pops and clicks, but after making some tweaks to it and then adding some other tracks, I discovered it made a very convincing reverse guitar sound. Very Beatlesque! The clicks were still there, but they were buried in the mix and not audible. Here is a video I made with some nice psychedelic visualizations:

There are 5 tracks in all. Everything is a Les Paul except for the main lead, which is an American Deluxe Stratocaster. It has the S1 push switch on the volume knob that gives you several optional pickup wiring schemes. I had the 5-way switch set to position 2, which puts the middle and bridge pickups in series. I believe I also had Tone 2 turned all the way down.

Track 1 is the Les Paul playing a clean rhythm.
Track 2 is the Les Paul playing some weird riffs with the reverse delay, panned 75% left.
Track 3 is the Strat playing the lead, panned dead center.
Track 4 is the Les Paul with an EBow, panned 75% right.
Track 5 is the Les Paul playing the rhythm with a Vibratone.

Tracks 1 & 5 slowly pan between left and right, swapping sides every 30 seconds, although they are buried so deep in the mix, it really isn't very apparent. I should have taken better notes on which patches I used for each track. I'm pretty sure none of them were stock. I think the rhythm and reverse delay tracks used the '65 Twin model. I tried several models with the EBow and I think I wound up using one of my 60s British patches. I'm pretty sure the lead track used an 80s British patch.

The only things I did in post were tone / volume / pan related. All the other effects were created in the amp (a V1 Mustang III).
