Hi. I've recently bought a Mustang III and I am thrilled with it! :D I just got two questions about it:

1- :?: What software/CDs do they normally come with? Because even though I bought it new, I bought one on display so received the amp and then the box with the footswitch and USB cable. Even though I did get a manual, it didn't come with any CDs at all and I've seen a couple of unboxing videos on youtube where they come with at least one CD.

2- After playing with it for a day I plugged it to my computer and played with it through Fuse. Only one question: :?: how can I switch the bright-switch on or off on the Twin Reverb if I'm using the amp on its own or don't have my computer with me?

Thanks!

Mat

Included with Mustang III v2:

Other Features:
Fender® FUSE™ PC application
Ableton® Live Lite 8 Fender® edition
AmpliTube® Fender® LE edition with free Fender® FUSE™ editor/librarian software for Mac and PC

I believe the only way to turn the 'bright' switch on and off is via Fender FUSE software.

Many thanks for the quick reply!

I'll try and download them from their original websites 'cos I only found Fuse on Fender's

Anytime! I think you might need to speak to a Fender rep about the software, I think you should have a promo code or something from the amplifier purchase. They can probably hook you up with a promo code or license # or whatever you need, since the amp was purchased as 'new'.

Either that, or check with the place where you purchased the amp, maybe they just set the CD's aside when they put the amp on the floor and forgot to include them with your purchase.

Enjoy the new amp, they are sooo sweet!

The amps no longer come with CDs. Full details of downloading the software, obtaining licence keys, etc, is available on the FUSE website and also Fender support website. Or here are the relevant pages:
