Hello all, I am considering purchasing buying a Mustang III or IV and I want to know about the XLR outputs. Do they have speaker simulation for direct connection to a PA or recording console? The manual does not specifically address this.

I would like to say that I played a certain other company's, (COUGH, L***6, cough, cough) amps and I was not that impressed. I plugged into a Mustang III-V2, and even though I only had about two minutes to try it, I was very impressed. Now if Fender would come out with a Variax type guitar in a left-hand version I would have the perfect rig for playing out.

Thanks to all for any help.

Hi,

The XLR outs have the same cab emulation you select with the active preset.
