Just received my Fender Mustang IV V2 amp today. When I have Fender Fuse running, and plug in and turn on the Mustang amp; it still has a red light, and says no amp detected. I also have a Fender G-DEC 3 that I run on this laptop, and works just fine. Am I missing a download? I have the most updated version of Fuse running as well; I think 2.7 Thanks in advance.

It MUST be 2.7 (or later) for a V2 amp, so worth double checking. The latest build is here:

Also, it's worth checking in Device Manager whether your amp appears there: if it doesn't, then it could be a problem with the physical connection/cable, or with the drivers. If it does, then it's a FUSE issue.

One suggestion for the latter: unplug ALL other USB and Firewire devices (apart from keyboard and mouse, if they're USB!), and then see if FUSE can detect your amp. Yes, I do mean unplug Firewire devices too; they shouldn't matter, but some have reported that they can affect FUSE's ability to detect the amp (mainly on Macs, but no harm trying this even if you're on a PC).
