Guys,
I do alot of ambient sounds, and I am brand new to the Mustang Floor, but I love its tone. Does anyone know of any presets on Fuse that have the volume pedal in a different chain location so I can SWELL my volume on chords, and when I back off the pedal, the full sound slowly fades with sustain? I know I can probably build my own, but I saw on the forum where many have had trouble with getting the volume int he proper chain location to produce said effect.

I just updated my firmware and am about to dive in, I just wanted to see if anyone can help me to forego an pitfalls before I commit? Thanks! :P

IIRC from previous topics discussing this, the best way to achieve what you describe, is to assign the pedal to the 'level' (ie volume) of an effect in the pre- position in the signal chain, rather than assigning it to the actual 'volume' of the amp.

I prefer the Eddie Tan patented method, no need for pedals!

This should do it. I'll give it a shot today. Huge thanks... 8)

Further, you can assign the pedal in its 'expression mode' to the 'volume' of the amp-model within the Mustang, rather than using it in 'volume mode' which is more akin to the physical 'master volume' on the amp. This should also achieve what you want, assuming of course your delay effects etc are after the amp-model.

How can I get my effects after the amp in the chain in order for the swells to trail? I can do this on my Pod HD500, but I am truly wanting to sell it and just work with one board for the sake of foot sanity. ANy thoughts?

The other day I chained my pod with my Mustang floor, and it just didnt seem to flow right, and the tone was gone! I am going to set my Visual Sound Open Road overdrive in the loop as it is by far my favorite OD pedal Ive owned out of ten. It doesnt carry that digital fuzz sound most of the preset overdrives have on the Musfloor.

By default, stomp effects come before the amp model, and everything else (mod, delay, reverb) is after the amp model. So, by default, the things you'd want to 'tail' are in the right place. Adding and changing effects on the amp itself keeps this default order.

If you want to change the order of effects in the chain, you can do this using FUSE, which gives you a graphical view of the signal chain. You can put any effect in any position - subject to the limit of maximum four effects, one from each group.
