Just started messing with it this yesterday morning and already have some issues that I hope someone can help with. The amp is firmware 2.0 and Fuse, 2.7, is the latest as far as I can tell.

1. The XLR outs are referred to in the manual as stereo outputs. Is there not a way to get a mono signal in case any of these effects are stereo?

2. Fuse and the amp connect and communicate back and forth for a few minutes but then Fuse becomes unable to send anything to the amp. The amp will send any changes made on it to Fuse and you can see parameters change on the screen as well as hear any changes. To get a two way conversation going again I have to unplug then replug the USB cable from the amp.

3. When trying to restart Fuse it usually won't come up but there are instances of it running in the Task Manager, Win7 64. Once I kill FuseServer, FuseLauncher also closes which allows me to start Fuse back up. No other software is running at the time other than background processes.

On a clean Twin amp there is some clipping from the XLR out but the speaker seems OK. Below are samples, one with the XLR out and the other with a mic placed on the grill dead center of the speaker. The XLR output is set pretty low at 19 and my PC interface and DAW are not close to clipping. Has anyone else screwed around with the XLR outputs and noticed a difference? I posted this elsewhere and someone said they couldn't hear a difference. Directly from my DAW or even the mp3 I exported for uploading it is a bit easier to hear.

I think in the UTIL menu there is an output level setting for the XLR. I can't confirm that right now though (not in front of my amp). Maybe yours is set too high?

There is an output level under utilities but it is already set low at 19.9%.

Hi,
some day ago i wanted to test the XLR outputs and i had to lower the line out boost further.. i heard clipping on pc speakers.. so it means the input level was too high.

that parameter it is about 20% by default but its name on utility menu would suggests that it is a boost not a passive volume control..
so 20% could be already an enhanced level ..
the signal continues to arrive to the soundcard even if you set that parameter to 0% or nearly.

Thanks for the tip. Reducing to around 10% seems to be working fine. This still puzzles me because they call this an output level however as I stated, my interface is not clipping and if it was I'd trim it down a little. To me it's like the "output level" is over driving it's self. In any case that's not an issue anymore.

I found out yesterday that the issue with Fuse losing it's communication with the amp after a few minutes is a know issue. Tech support sent me a link for a beta release of Fuze that so far has corrected the problem.
