Hey guys, Has anyone found settings that will get that Chuck Berry type sound from a Strat or Tele and a Stang 3 (v1)? The standard rockabilly works well for Carl Perkins, Bill Haley type stuff but I have not been able to dial in that Gibson ES sound. Thanks!

By googling a little bit, I found that Chuck used a Fender Dual Showman Reverb head with a Dual Showman 2x15 cabinet - the same setup used by Dick Dale.

Those amp and cab models aren't available on the Mustang amps. So, what I would do is to find a few "surf" presets experiment with, notch the reverb down a bit and use the Bassman cab sim.

AS a starting point you can try this Showman preset created by Fender and tweak cabinets until you find something that sounds right :)
