I have a general "Dose anyone have"? questions. I play with our churches Praise and worship Team and I currently have a Acoustasonic 150 that I have had for one year. We have switched Lead guitar players and I am using my electric more than acoustic. The Acoustasonic has the 3 "Electric Guitar" modes on it but I can not get the "Fender" classic sound. My thought was buy a Mustang 3 or 4 or the floor unit and keep the Acoustasonic. So.... Dose anyone have the floor unit hooked to an Acoustasonic or do you think that setup would work. Thanks in advance !!

Hi,

I use my strat and a mustang floor at church every sunday, but connected to a PA. If that is not an option, I would recommend any powered monitor, depending on your wattage needs.

The accoustasonic could be fine if you can make it colorless as much as possible (no effects, flat EQ, no gain) which I think could be possible given it is an accoustic guitar amp.
In the other hand, if you do not need your accoustasonic for any other sue, sell it, buy a powered monitor, and keep the extra money in your pocket!

Hi sgtjet210,

We will be happy to assist. It seems like you've been given some great advise from jedi2b, thanks jedi2b:) A Fender® Mustang™ Floor might make a great addition to your Fender® Acoustasonic™ 150 amp. If you use this combination you will need to adjust your amp to a "neutral tone setting" and the voice setting (under the Utilities menu) on the Mustang Floor. This setup might offer you a better chance of achieving that "Fender" tone, that you described. I would also recommend you try out one of the new Fender® Mustang™ (V.2) products, that offers a wide selection of amp modelling, including a Studio Preamp setting, that might work well for your Acoustic guitar setting. Please let us know if we can assist further.
