OK, just found a (new?) bug in one of the pieces. It could
be in FUSE 2.7, it could be in the 1.10 Firmware of my V1
Mustang I, or in the 2.0 Firmware of my V2 Mustang II.

When I save my edited presets from a V2 Mustang and then
load them into a V1, some are corrected to only use the amp
models and FX that are present in the V1. Great. It tells you
what is replaced with what, on screen, while you load
individual ones. When you restore a whole backup, it does it
silently.

But somewhere in the process of moving presets between
my V1 Mustang I and my V2 Mustang II, some of my presets
have died. They load OK on both V1 and V2, but on the V2
they will effectively disable the V2 Mustang II. Until another
preset is selected, the tone, gain and Volume controls on the
V2 amp are linked to their screen versions OK, but they stop
having any audible effect on the preset. In addition, the preset
has lost all character and is like a generic sound. The FX seem
to stay in place and work, but the patch is useless. I've tried
reloading, opening, importing, re-editing it, re-saving from both
amps, etc, but once a preset is bad, it stays bad and is unusable.

I don't know at what point this happened, but suddenly as I
was loading both amps with the same presets I found myself
with a V2 Mustang II that had several "dead" presets on it. I
had to rebuild these presets from scratch using the data from
a screen capture.

Can Fender pls indicate if this is a known bug and what can be
done.

Hi FernandR,

Please send an email to us with one of the "dead" Presets attached. And we will take a look at the Preset and follow up with you. Please be sure to include your Forum name, real name and the text from the post or a link to it. And we will follow up with you from there. Thanks much.

Best Regards,
