Just got M3-V2-1 hour ago haven't taken it home yet. Will my existing Fuse program work on the amp or do I have to upgrade ?
Also there is a post from Fender support saying not to up grade for V2 until the issue with 2.7 is resolved. is that still the case?

The only version that recognizes the V2 amps is Fuse 2.7, and as you pointed out FEnder recommends to skip the firmware update for now. You should be able to use Fuse 2.7 with the amp even without doing the firmware upgrade.

My V2 M II was manufactured in October 2012. The firmware on it said 2.0. I was foolish to do the upgrade, but lucky in that it worked fine. So now it's still 2.0. Maybe that January 2.0 firmware is a little different, but most likely it's the same.

So the smart thing for now is NOT to risk upgrading firmware via the 2.0 FUSE on your V2 Mustang, it won't add anything, and it might lock up your amp.
