Please, I'd like to know if I'm good with this. I'm connecting the MFloor to the power in to the amp so I use the power section of the amp. Then set the output in utilities to PA. it sounds good to me even better if seted in combo amp but I'm not sure if it has to be setted on combo becuase the fact is that it is connected to a combo amp.

thanks for your help

Hi,

the UTILS setting for the MFloor output only change the equalization of the audio signal, you can adjust it to any of the provided 12 values without risk, just chose the one that sounds best to you. On top of that you can also fine tune that setting with a level of bass and treble for that equalization.

I have found that with most combo amps, the Combo+bass setting with treble at 100% and bass at 75% sounds the best for me, but is just a question of personal taste.

I also use my MFloor with a PA, in that case it dial PA+BASS with 100% treble and 100% bass

Hi,

Could you specify what amp are you referring to? are there any labels under the connections?

normally the best place to connect the MF would be the effects return, or aux-in to the power amp, but this will change from one amp to the next and from one manufacturer to the next.

Regarding the tones, try them all and decide which one you like the most, there's no "better tone" only a question of taste.

In the case of the mustang 3, the FX return is the best placement for the mustang floor. Going through the instrument input on the mustang 3 will give you a double emulation (from the MF and the M3) and chances are it will sound bad, bad you can try it out, nothing will break.
