No, they have to ship it to Sweden first ;)

(swedish musicstores are REALLY expensive so a lot of swedes buy from Thomann (or musicstore), we just call them "Tysken"(the German)

It has been shipped to Langenhangen today though, that's an airport I suppose.

Hehe, I know, jag är också från Sverige. :D

But it's good to know that you can order them from Germany. We'll see if I have the patience to wait for them to be released in Sweden (which I prefer if something were to happen with the amp and I'd have to send it back) or if I'll cave and buy it from abroad.
Would love to hear what you think of your Mustang when you get it.

Just checked the status of the Mustang IV V.2 over at Thomann.de (one of the biggest online instrument retailers in Europe) and they're stating that it'll be available starting the 10th of May.

The V V.2 head is already available though. The matching cabinet is scheduled for the 27th of May.

Thomann has changed the availability of the IV V.2 to the 23rd of May. Guess Musicstore is the place for us Europeans to order them from if we want them fast.

I also ordered mine back in January. Just got it today. Not sure what the hold up was.

Hurray! I can now confirm that also the Mustang V is fizz-free. And it also seems to be a little lower background noise. Is it just me or is the gate slightly different? All of sudden my sloppy playing on hi-gain amps is gone, I can barely hear if I touch the highest strings when jumping across powerchords :)

The shrift amp is really different from the other fenders, nice addition. The studio-preamp, I can see where it may come handy (like if I wanna plug in another preamp and want the amps preamp to be as neutral as possible, and as DI for recording bass or acoustic guitar).

The British Colour was fun to play around with, it is nothing at all like the British 70 or 80, it has a lot of gain (and is to be considered medium->hi-gain), and reacts more like american 90 to palm-muting: shug-shug-shug! \m/

It seemed very bright at first (almost a little ice-pick), but I saw the default SAG is set to "less", changed it to "match" and all the ice-pick disappeared.

Just ask if you wanna now something more.

And oh, the output-XLR have a "ground-lift" button, nice touch if you have problems with that (I wont ever have ground-problems however, lucky to have an electrician as a brother ;) )

EDIT: One more thing! My request of the ability to LOCK the footswitch-mode went through! My big foots won't ever switch from mode-1 to tuner-mode through the middle of a song xD

The Green Overdrive "pedal" is a little "angrier" than the standard overdrive. (I actually got rid of my Maxon 808 when I found out v.2 had a 808-simulation, 'cause I had troubles driving the pedal hard into the fender mustang v.1, my EMGs have some really hot output by itself.)

The orange box is a distortion-pedal, no doubt, probably a BOSS DS-1 or something like that.

The black box is a proco-rat, no doubt about it:

It has only three controls on the mustang: Level, Distortion, Filter ;)

About the IV V.2: around the end of this month is the latest I've heard from Fender.
Also I'm now seeing the amp in stock at several UK retailers.

I'm from Sweden.
Mid June? Have you checked out any other retailers in Canada? The second batch of IVs seems to be arriving in Europe between now and the end of May.

I'm sure you'll be happy with the III.

Just got the IV V2 home. Tried both of them (IV and III) at the store before buying. Really enjoyed them both, and the III was great and would've been enough but there was something about the presence in the IV which just felt... more and nicer.
Like it had more of a tube-like feel to it. And since I'm gonna be using this amp for a long time to come I went ahead and bought the IV.

Funny thing is I thought the III was louder than the IV at the same volume. Both of the are fine for bedroom playing though. Just turn the volume up to 10 and then adjust the master volume. At 2 the amp sounded nice, but at 3 - around the limit for play at home-volume - it really sung.

I returned the version one Mustang IV that I had bought as the FIZZ on clean channels was so bad I couldnt stand it. I bought a used Fender Frontman 212R and that has a clean channel that I can turn the vol and gain up all the way and sit the guitar on a stand and all I hear is total silence.....I love it !!!!

So the Mustang IV v2 can hook up to my mp3 player and I will play some tones I downloaded to help break in the speakers in a slow and easy manner, and then start playing some Black Sabbath and BTO through the speakers to help break em in too. Not too loud at first, but gradual and easy does it.

The morning I paid and ordered my new amp the website said in stock. The next day it said
May 10th......so I dont know if I will get it sooner or later, but I look forward to trying out the
new amp, and Im just glad they fixed the transformer problem.

When I returned the Version one I had bought, I then bought a Vox AC15C2 and that has some really nice clean sounds, just different.
