This may not be the place to ask this but I'm just getting to the point where I'm using my Mustang I to record into the Ableton Lite program that came with it and I can't seem to get that to happen. I am using the supplied Fender ASIO files and I can record my MIDI keyboard fine and make tracks with the computer keypad, and imported WAV. files work but no matter what or how I plug a guitar in all I get is the sound coming out of the computer speakers but no signal on the volume meter, and if I hit record anyway nothing records. I realize it's probably something with my computer but I have tried every setting I could find. I'm using a Compaq Presario tower with Windows 7, onboard soundcard(Realtek)(I know, this is probably where the trouble is). I can get around it by recording my guitar parts into a digital porta-studio and then importing them but that is cumbersome, and I should be able to record direct. Otherwise though, I am very impressed with both the amp and Ableton, there's so many possibilities I haven't even scratched the surface yet. Anyway, thanks in advance if anybody has a fix for this.

Thanks thouston, I just took a quick look and I think I already see the fix I need, I'll try it later along with some of the other info in the thread.
