The 2.6 version was squirelly, but on occasion a Search would work. It would in any case show pages and pages of user-uploaded presets.

Now with 2.7, I've only had Search work a couple of times (and return 2 Presets), and in no case do I ever see more than one page of presets on Web.

Is there some trick to this, or should I revert to 2.61? Does 2.61 support the V Mustang II?

I had a similar problem with many different versions of Fuse, in my case I corrected it by changing the regional settings of the Windows machine to english, in Mac I was unable to find any solution, but I<m fairly certain it has something to do with language settings of Fuse delelopment or some language bug of the beloved Silverlight

Hi...

as you can see here in my thread I have the same problem.

The problem can not be related to the language settings cause I get all the pages with presets if the Mustang I V1 is connected.
The page numbers disappear and there's only one page left with the Mustang III V2 connected to the PC.
I know that the pictures in my thread aren't the best but I'm sure you know what I mean.

If someone has a solution or an idea... Share it please :)

Thanks,

Peter

The little page advance has disappeared, and it's unclear which presets appear on the one visible page, and why. Is it maybe meant to be filtering so only V2 presets show up when a V2 amp is used?

That would be silly, since V1 presets work fine in V2 amps, I even did a successful restore onto the V2 of my last saved presets from my V1 before I retired it. But maybe that's the intent, and it's buggy? There might be a way to disable that filtering, maybe a preferences file?

But it looks like it's filtering to (mostly/only?) show presets created by Fender? Come on, Fender, please participate and help us! Please stop hiding!

If connecting a V1 opens up the Webb library, is there a manual way to specify which amp will be connected, before it is, so we can at least test this hypothesis?

Hello, Fender? Are we alone here? This is pretty crippling, it would be lovely to get the Web Preset Library working again!

Amazing Fender couldn't help. But maybe I found a solution, still need to test more, but it seems it WAS due to filtering. The filter settings from the COMMUNITY page carry over to the MEDIA LIBRARY.

If you click the COMMUNITY button at the bottom of the FUSE window, go to DOWNLOAD PRESETS, and undo all search terms (like FENDER ONLY) and click on SEARCH, you will see multiple pages of presets. Now exit COMMUNITY and try the MEDIA LIBRARY. In my case it brought back the multiple page browser.

Hi Everyone,

We will be happy to assist. Could you please explain the exact steps you take to search using the Media Library. If there is an issue, we would like to be able to reproduce it here so we can offer a solution for you all. Thanks in advance and let us know if we can assist further.

Thanks!

What seems to have happened to me is this: I used the COMMUNITY page and searched for presets with the "only Fender" checkbox set. This limited the search results to a handful. When I exited the community page, I didn't think about this again. When going to the MEDIA LIBRARY page, I found I was no longer seeing more than a single page's worth. The page increment arrows were gone too. I then discovered that if I went back to the COMMUNITY page, Search Presets, and cleared the "Fender Only" checkbox, my MEDIA LIBRARY page worked normally as before. So this is a bug, the MEDIA LIBRARY should clear (or not use) any search terms that were used in the COMMUNITY page. It took me a while to find why my MEDIA LIBRARY was "broken".

As to SEARCH, I can't get it to work as expected. If, say, I type "layla" into the search box, with WEB red, and click GO, no matter what I do I get presets (like Li II) in the pane that don't contain the string "layla" in any of the fields I can see, either on screen, or in the PRESET INFO page.

If I search for "funk bass", I get two presets with the word "funk", but nothing to do with "bass". If I remove the word "bass", and only search for "funk" I get many more presets. Are there some invisible fields that are being searched? It seems arbitrary, and makes it hard to use.

Is your web team responsible for the FUSE standalone app? Because it's not your web that's the problem. The problem is that FUSE is not clearing the search from when COMMUNITY was last used.

For me it doesn't make a difference if the boxes on the community presets-page are checked or not. Worse luck...
I tried the steps you described above to clear the search filters but I only get one page of presets with the Mustang III V2 in FUSE.

Make sure you actually RUN a search. Let's recap.

Log in on the FUSE app so it shows Logged In on
the bottom right, with a green "light". Then
click on COMMUNITY at bottom of FUSE window.

Navigate to the Search Presets page. Clear any
search terms and check boxes, then do a SEARCH.
You should get multiple pages of presets. Then
exit COMMUNITY entirely. Go back to it and check
if your search remains free of search terms. Exit
again, and click on Media Library. Click on Web in
the top right area. You should see the presets
appear and a little navigator in the pane to go to
next page, previous etc. with pages 1, 2, 3 etc.

Any luck?

Hi and sorry for the late answer... got a lot to do at work -.-

I tried several options to get the preset library to work within Fuse.
If I follow the steps you describe nothing happens but there is one strange thing I've noticed:
No matter what I do - there is only one page of presets in Fuse and there is no page indicator in the lower right corner of the preset window.
But: If I type something in the Fuse search field (an 'a' is enough for example) and click on go... I get the page indicator. There are really page numbers (1 to 5).
I can click on the pages but they're empty. Site one is the one and only I get with presets...

That's really weird...
