Is there any chance fender might do a Mustang V2 III & IV in the classic tweed covering like they do different covers on some of their other amps? That would be cool , Fender if your reading :)

Hi Guys,

That is a very cool idea. I will pass the idea along to the related folks here.

Best Regards,

Thanks for the replies iv got the mustang III V1 & bought it when they were launched in the uk & have added the 4 button footswitch & expression pedal its got a little bit of fizz but nothing compared to the vox vt40+ that i took back under warranty & exchanged it for, im very happy with the amp the brit 60's vox sound is better than the vt40+ by a mile but if Fender bring out a Tweed version i would seriously consider trading it in for one. :)

Yes tweed covering please.... and more robust input jacks. For that, I'd lay my money down.

Tweed would be sweet for sure..

But It would no doubt affect the $bottom$ line...

Where as more robust jacks, probably wouldn't, .. I would opt that b4 the cosmetics.

Totally agree.

But it wouldn't have to be real tweed, a tastefully designed tweed patterned tolex would still look cool. Matter of fact, if you look closely at the V.1 carbon fiber covering, it actually looks like a black on black tweed pattern. Surely they could produce a tweed colored version.

Great comparison in the pics! I assume that covering with that tweed would push the amp out of its' intended market!

It appears Fender have made some bright red m3v2's & white m2v2's i i still wish they would do a tweed one. I suppose there's no accounting for taste

That would be great! Currently, I have no plans to update my M3 v1.0 to a V2.0. However, I would if there was a tweed!

Fender must have hired the same guys who coded the Obamacare website.
Oh well, until they get it straightened out. I'll post the pic back up.
