I have a Mustang III that has an issue that just occurred. Upon power up the 1st screen comes up, Mustang, c 2012, all rights reserved. etc. and just hangs and will not proceed any further.

I tried using Fender Fuse, via PC and the USB port and it appeared to update, exit light came on at the end of the download, however upon powering the amp back down and up, the same situation occurs.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks.

Check to see if any of the buttons(utl, save, exit, ect.) are stuck. sometimes they just get a little hung up.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I had already checked that and the buttons look OK.

As I mentioned it seems to respond properly if I hook it up to a PC through the USB port and download the FUSE software. The Save and Exit lights blink while its loading then the Save light remains on when completed. It appears to communicate OK with the PC and the FUSE application is indicating the software load was completed.

The issue occurs when trying to power on the amp. To me it looks like its stuck in a power on/boot up sequence that won't let it proceed to normal operating mode.
