wow, I didn't think there was any connection. It seems like every retail site has 'ratings and reviews', I thought they were just getting with the times.

Sorry for the long wait before this reply, I had a doctor's appointment.

strings, I know that you have been around here long enough to know exactly what I am talking about as far as requested feedback threads, even though those threads have been deleted and the current ones don't really get to the point of what I was saying. I also know that your replies have nothing to do as to whether or not you agree with me or not. That isn't your intention at all.

You see, I have a lot of old friends that I have known for 40 or more years. By what I have gathered by reading your posts, you are very much like one of them.

Pretty smart guy, owns his own business, a stickler for detail, dry humor, quick wit, but he is also an antagonist.

If a bunch of us guys are at a social gathering and he spies some "prey" and engages the unsuspecting poor shmuck in conversation, the rest of us will just look at each other and roll our eyes as if to say to each other "Here we go again".

You see, it doesn't matter what the guy says or whether our friend agrees with them or not he will find some small pont that the victim says and challenge him on it. Then the victim replies to his challenge but will usually not make it clear or makes a small mistake. Our friend, being a quick wit, comes back again, throwing the victim off guard and, as human nature dictates, becomes defensive.

This goes on and on and eventually the victim becomes enraged and sometimes intervention is required.

What the poor slob didn't realize is that it was all a game set up by our friend and he used the victim's own ego against him. His intention from the beginning was to enrage the victim and it usually works.

Our friend does it because it's fun for him - no other reason.

So, you have to know now that I know that the only way to win the game at all is to not play it.

Heck, I don't hold it against you or dislike you for your personality. I have to admit that I sometimes get a devilish pleasure watching these kinds of engagments - if they don't get too cruel.

I am a fairly flexible guy, I'll state my opinion but I am not immovable on it. Just give me an intellegent counter point and I can change my mind. But this kind of shinanigins?... I am not your sucker dude.

In the future when you try to pull this tactic on me and I don't reply, just think about that Allstate commercial where the long haired dude says "It's like we're connected" and the the other dude says "No we're not". Picture the long haired dude cocking his head and giving the other guy that look, that will be me looking at you.

BTW. If it is crossing your mind that I am "plutonimus"... no I am not. But, I did get a good chuckle out of that. You deserved it.

OK to be honest I read about 5 sentences of what you typed above and started scanning.

I honestly thought you were talking about that thread over in the FUSE section. It seems 4 out of 5 people who go on this forum think FUSE is only for the amp they have, and you'll notice people asking Mustang questions in that section for that reason. Apparently you were talking about something which no longer exists.

So just one little suggestion though before you go attacking people for the intelligence behind their posts. Just in that last minute before you hit the Submit button, may I suggest you check for spelling? Nothing makes you look more foolish than telling someone they should be more intellegent.

In retrospect, I may have took what you said in the wrong way. But, I have seen how you have gone on with some pretty heavy arguments with others and in other posts, what appears to be a deliberate attempts to taunt them into arguments.

I was just letting you know that I won't get baited into silly arguments based upon inconsequential details and why.

If you noticed, ]intellegent is underlined and is the only misspelled word. I knew that, being a stickler for detail, you just couldn't pass that up and I did it to prove my point that sometimes, every little detail isn't as important as the gist of the statement.

I do have a spell checker running as a plugin to the browser and it is always active.

Anyway, I apologize if I took you wrong and this thread is now way off topic. Let's put this thing to bed.

+1000 ps90, you nailed the individual's sociopathic syndrome precisely, and we've seen plenty of examples of it in this forum.

I believe the term is..."BUSTED".

Well it's good to see you two are getting along after this blowout:

Dude, I have a wonderful solution for you which apparently hasn't occurred to you...

CALL FENDER YOURSELF!!!

You will get an OFFICIAL statement from them DIRECT from Fender since you seem to think everybody in here is lying to you and are worthy of your insults and contempt and insufferable pontification.

Of course, a kindergartener couldn't figure out how to dial a phone. Is that what we're dealing with here? Do you need help dialing Fender's number??

Look man, I don't need to call Fender because I don't give a rats behind about what, if any, V2 improvments are going to be available to V1 product owners.

I just made an statement about my personal observations of how this forum is moderated (or Fender's lack there of) and the behavior of some forum members towards other forum members.

I never called you or anyone else here a lier - don't put words in my mouth that I never spoke. And I didn't insult anyone either - I made an observation as to what I see going on here. Your the one that's dolling out insults insufferable pontifications.

Maybe those that care about this V2 stuff (I don't) and are skeptical should call and get the info for themselves - but that doesn't give you or anyone else license to act rudly towards others here.

My observations weren't specifically about at YOU - but instead, the global atmosphere on this forum that is a result of a lack of moderation and leadership provided by Fender to police these forums, !@$ these squabbles in the bud and provide timely information about issues that are of consern and important to it's customers - which they must be aware of if they monitor these forums.

As childish as it was, I'm glad it brought the two of you closer.
