Hi darek12091,

We will be happy to assist. Depending on your application, you can select different cabinet voicing, when connecting the Fender Mustang Floor with an amp. If you plan on going direct to a PA, we recommend that you use one of the PA voicing available in the Utilities menu. Please let us know if this helps and if we can assist further.

Thanks for quick answer, but I've put my question in the wrong way, sorry. Let me ask one more time - wright way - Should I use these simulations with my amp (live) or are they for record purpose only? I'm asking because my friend says that is for record only and in live performances it's giving different sound. Sorry if it's silly question for you but I need to be sure of that.
Regards D.

I don't own a Floor but I don't think this question is exclusive to the Floor, but instead, It has to do with modeling amps in general. Are the cab models for use only for recording? I would say no. They are there to try and more accurately emulate the amp models with either their default cabinet or what they would sound like with other cabinets that might be used with the amp head.

For sure it will sound different with the cab sim off, but whether that is good or bad shouldn't be dictated by how they're supposed to be used or by other peoples opinion about how they're supposed to be used, but instead by what you hear and whether or not it matches what you want to hear.

Simple as that. Use your ears, they are the most important instrument that a musician has.

Another floor (or any Mustang) issue if I may, I am very happy that the pitch shifting has no latency, but I was wondering, is there a way of only outputting the wet signal and not mixed? I am trying to substitute my whammy bar for the pedal but I dont like the shifted note to come out together with the original signal. And also...is there any way of getting smart (harmonized) pitch shifting with the floor?
