Now that the Mustang Series V2 is available, why is there no sign that there ever was an original Mustang Series? I was trying to register my gear and there are only selections for the V2 series!!!

Do I now own a Vintage Mustang V?!?!?!

yes BUT you don't get the crappy rolex!

BTW, a year ago a fender rep told me that the carbon fiber look of the (v1) Mustangs was what Fender was calling "Blackface 2000" look. Apparently the 2000 era was short lived, so you own indeed a collectors item!

I wonder if there would still be firmware updates for the V1 models. I notice the firmware update post have been deleted.

after all the extent they went lately to segregate the V1 users on the fuse site, I really doubt it. In the end they probably spent more money rebuilding their site than recompiling the firmware for V1s would have cost.

Oh by the way, the fuse site has been crippled for the last week or so, that's why there are no new presets, so maybe fender can get their money back from the web developers and pay for the v1 firmware upgrade instead! :)
