Another newbie question: I want to use the floor for my church band instead of my Mustang IV combo. I'm stupid and still can't figure out how to hook up the floor to the church PA system. Help!!? Is it one cable from PA to the floor? If so, how?
Thanks.

I don't have the Floor, but looking at the outputs, I'd be interested to hear it with both XLR outputs run to the PA on 2 different channels. Then you'd EQ those channels on the PA and (if it's a stereo setup) pan one channel left and the other right.

If you don't have XLR cables handy, it looks like you could use the Unbalanced Outs (1/4") the same way - 2 cables to 2 channels on the PA.

If you don't have enough channels available on the PA or not enough cables, you can probably use 1 cable - usually you use the left channel for a mono connection. Maybe some one who has tried it can confirm.

if you have two available channels on your mixer/pa you can have a double connection, otherwise a single cable will do. Then configure the mustang floor output as mono or stereo on the util menu (as described on the manual). Then find the output voicing EQ that matches best your PA, in my case i Use the "PA+BASS" setting

XLR connections are preferable as they are in general less noise and less prone to interference particularly with long cables (more than 20 feet)

Been using MF in churches for 6 months now with excellent results.

Here's my setup:

MF > XLR Out Left > PA.
MF > Unbalanced Out Right > Guitar Amp.

Start Level at 9 o'clock & go up from there. Try to get an hour by yourself with the sound guy to work on levels, mixing board tone & monitor settings. Some amp models can sound extremely bassy and can be fixed at the mixing board instead of the MF.

* I always bring an amp with me for a stage monitor just in case the monitor system (floor monitors/in-ears) or sound guys are unreliable. In my experience that's about 98% of the time.

Great pedal I have two of them.
