Do anyone know if you going to be able to use the Mustang V1's footswitches with Mustang V2

I do not have the time now but you can check and compare the switches Part Numbers from V1 advanced manual to V2 advanced manual

And what about presets do the V1 use the same type of presets as V2
(like how the g-decs, super champs and mustangs all use differeant types)

like will i be able to upload the one i've got on my V1 now or will i have to make them again

I haven't been keeping up with all the latest. This is the first I've heard of the v2 Mustang. What are the differences between this and the original, other than the different looking covering? I can't find any info comparing the two.

They hid that info on the Fender Mustang page on the Fender website (sneaky bastids!):

http://www.fender.com/series/mustang/

WHAT'S NEW TO V.2?
With the new Mustang V.2 series you can now access five additional amp models, five new stompboxes, and pitch shifting when you connect your amp to Fender Fuse.

NEW Amp Models:
Studio Preamp
'57 Twin
'60s Thrift
British Watts
British Colour

NEW Stomp Boxes:
Ranger Boost
Green Box
Orange Box
Black Box
Big Fuzz

Also added wah and diatonic pitch shifting (on the website, this is not shown on the Mustang I-II page, only on the Mustang III, IV, V page. I'm not sure if that means it's not available on M-I and M-II).

Well, since 3-4 people in the FUSE support forum who have recieved V2 amps are unable to get the 9 month old beta version of FUSE to recognise their amps, my guess is that the two preset types are not going to be compatable.

Don't take that as gosple - I'm just guessing.

Still no FUSE 2.7 (or whatever) or any info as to what amps it's going to support once it's released.

Sure hope any here that have preordered V2 amps are getting III/IV/V models because editng a I or II without FUSE is next to impossible other than delay and modulation.

I just have a reliable old Mustang l that I am still playing with effects and swapping of cabinets. What will I do without the Green, Black and Orange boxes?

Now it they had a nice Aqua one, it might be a must have for me.

I am clearly not the target market for a few new shiny things. I am just an old fart.
