So the mustang 2 v2 is available. They have gotten rid of. The carbon fiber look, and gone for a traditional covering. On closer inspection using the zoom feature on this URL http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Mustang2V2/ shows that the input jacks are the same crappy plastic as before, and the headphones, and aux ports are the same as before too. Come on Fender, you've heard all the bitching on this in other threads, and the issues. What gives?

Amen on the cheap plastic jacks, I will definitely change those soon. My first MII went back within a week because the headphone jack broke, it was a floor demo so that didn't help matters. Still for $200, great amp.

My MII headphone jack broke the first week as well. All Fender could do was send me a completely new amp. Mustangs are on the "DO NOT REPAIR" list.

+1 on the carbon fiber!

The carbon fiber may make the V1's have some value in the future. No accounting for what is collectable.

BTW. I know this will most likely be perceived as the ravings of a lunatic. As an old rock and roller it comes with the territory.
