Dude, I have a wonderful solution for you which apparently hasn't occurred to you...

CALL FENDER YOURSELF!!!

You will get an OFFICIAL statement from them DIRECT from Fender since you seem to think everybody in here is lying to you and are worthy of your insults and contempt and insufferable pontification.

Of course, a kindergartener couldn't figure out how to dial a phone. Is that what we're dealing with here? Do you need help dialing Fender's number??

Look man, I don't need to call Fender because I don't give a rats behind about what, if any, V2 improvments are going to be available to V1 product owners.

I just made an statement about my personal observations of how this forum is moderated (or Fender's lack there of) and the behavior of some forum members towards other forum members.

I never called you or anyone else here a lier - don't put words in my mouth that I never spoke. And I didn't insult anyone either - I made an observation as to what I see going on here. Your the one that's dolling out insults insufferable pontifications.

Maybe those that care about this V2 stuff (I don't) and are skeptical should call and get the info for themselves - but that doesn't give you or anyone else license to act rudly towards others here.

My observations weren't specifically about at YOU - but instead, the global atmosphere on this forum that is a result of a lack of moderation and leadership provided by Fender to police these forums, !@$ these squabbles in the bud and provide timely information about issues that are of consern and important to it's customers - which they must be aware of if they monitor these forums.

That kind of petty censorship coupled with lack of response to this issue from Fender gives one a look inside the Matrix mind of a modern global corporation. It reveals priorities.

Feeling good yet?

It is disappointing that Fender reps never come in here and simply bring us up to speed on a wide variety of frustrating Mustang issues as most other musical instrument companies do on their websites. I don't mean revealing products ahead of time, I mean simply explaining their policy relating to V.1 upgrades, stuff like that.

But we know now that Fender has become super paranoid about telling its customers pretty much ANYTHING about what's going on within the confines of this forum. I mean, if they can tell you on the phone, why not in here?? It's crazy, and not conducive to customer retention.

Really? I found it to be the opposite here. After spending a good amount of time on the Gibson forums, I was very impressed by the level of involvement by Fender staff on this forum.

The moderators spend most of their time answering and dealing with specific problems the users report. Personally, I'd rather have my specific problem solved than have advanced notice about what might happen with a future update that doesn't even exist yet (I assume by upgrade, you meant update).

That's why I specifically said: "I don't mean revealing products ahead of time."

Fender forum reps have never, once, referenced the fizz issue. After multiple threads and thousands of posts about it. Nor have they ever bothered to help out customers over what V.2 means relative to V.1ers. My solution is to get on the phone, but there's absolutely no reason they can't bring folks in here up to speed with the same information.

Well, there IS a reason. The Fender legal dept.

You said fender reps don't:

So what exactly is a 'V.1 upgrade' ...... V.2? Or did you mean 'update'?

You seem to be the only one in here confused by common terminology. This isn't an English class, stick to the topic at hand. Try to contribute to the forum's knowledge base, not shrink it.
