so, the story goes that lately I have been looking at hollow-bodies with increased interest... but unfortunatelly I can not afford one right now so...

I decided to give it a try with the mustang emulation.

Now I have no idea how close or far I am right now, but if anybody with hollowbody- semi-hollow experience wants to take a look that would be much appreciated:

As a reference I use a strat in neck+middle single coil position, volume 7, tone 5

OK I downloaded the preset, I like what you did with the reverb to kind of give it some (fake) resonance. I did find that when I switched to the '65 Deluxe Reverb amp model, it sounded a lot more like my Lucille. I'm still messing with it, will add any notes... :D

For reference I'm playing an Ibanez JS-LTD:

Pickups are Ibanez USA F1, C3, F2

I usually play a semi-hollow without 'f' holes (Epiphone Lucille)

FWIW, you can get a used Epiphone Dot for $250 or less if you look around.

Thanks a lot for the tips strings!
I do agree the deluxe 65 sounds better. What cabinet would you pick? the deluxe57 cabinet sounds right to me but i'm not sure, maybe the 4x12V would work too
