in the preset sdelection mode, you have instant access to 5 presets immediatelly when pressing those buttons, depending on which group of 5 presets you are that number will give you access to those 5 presets

...and in FX Selection mode, they turns the different effects off & on. You're right in questioning the numbers, though. I don't know any reason for there being 2 numbers on each foot switch.

Maybe I'm not understanding the question, but on the Floor if you are in preset mode then there are 5 presets available at any time on the 5 switches: for example when you turn it on, you have 00, 01, 02, 03, and 04.
Then if you hit the up arrow switch, you have 05, 06, 07, 08, and 09. Hit it again and you have 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14

That means that the leftmost switch will always have a preset ending in 0 or 5, the second from left, 1 or 6; the next one 2 or 7; the third, 3 or 8 and the last one 4 or 9.

I think its just so you know that if you want a preset ending in say a 1 or a 6, it will always be the second button from the left.

Good point, O2. It would help you keep your bearings. I just use one bank of 5 of my own presets, so I didn't think of that.

Actually, I'm like you in real world use. I wonder if there are folks out there who actually flip up and down the preset banks when actually playing. For my purposes, 5 presets is about what I need/can handle once I have them set up.
