i'm having a hard time understanding how to get the floor switch(3 mode/4 button) setup.

all i basically want is the heavy metal 2000 setup on one switch and a super damn good crisp and loud clean on another? i'm not understanding how to save my worked up presets either?

i got to get this rig figured out in a week before a gig and i love the amp, i'm just not that savvy on all this stuff.

any help would greatly be appreciated!

If you hit the UTIL button on the amp face, you will be presented with a number of options. Three of those options are to program QA1, QA2, and QA3. These are the quick-access presets on your footswitch. You can use any of the 100 presets in those slots, so program the preset you really want for each button.

Then on the footswitch, leave it in MODE 1. The switches will act like shortcuts to those presets you told it to.

If you go further into the UTIL menu, you will eventually come across something called "LOCK." This should be off for you. If it's on, turn it off. It prevents changes to your presets.

When you're done editing a preset and you want to save it, hit the SAVE button. Then you can choose a preset slot to save it to, then hit SAVE a 2nd time. Most of us usually just use the preset we're already on, so we just hit SAVE twice.
